Dextranase

When the cane juice concentrates to finally obtain sugar, substances are required to monitor the viscosity because otherwise there may be disruptions in the production of sugar, which lead to undesirable downtime of the industrial plant for cleaning and maintenance.

The use of Dextranase helps to control high viscosity of concentrated solutions of sugar, promoting a more flexible continuous process, minimizing its risk of discontinuity.

Amylase

Amylase is well known as an enzyme that helps to remove residual starch that can contaminate the process of sugar elaboration. PROFASA offers amylases of effective action even at high temperatures.

Sodium Hydrosulfite

After sugar concentration, it is required a bleaching process for it to be adeqcuate to the end consumer. The use of Sodium Hydrosulfite in combination with optical brighteners guarantees the quality characteristics of sugar for human consumption.
